So aiming for $3k per month is probably a big goal, incredibly straight off the bat; most people who seek to earn money online never earn more than a few hundred $'s dollars.

But a goal is good; ensure it's realistic and not a goal made out of desperation (i.e., you just lost your job and need $3k monthly).

First - Identify a method that suits your lifestyle, goals and skills.

I realise this is an odd thing to say. Still, you need to take a step back and look at the different things you can run online while being in another country or not having a stable internet connection to see which one resonates with you.

It may be that becoming a freelance graphic designer, videographer, or travel blogger works really well, or maybe you have found a passion for vlogging or running an online store.

Whatever it is, please write it down and start to learn and understand how that method works.

It was initially DropShipping, but after a few years, I sold them, moved on and realised I preferred writing and helping people. Hence, a natural move to affiliate marketing was obvious. I can get paid for the help and recommendations I give.

Second - Learn that skill and create a foundation.

You will have to get a solid foundation before you can go full-nomad. So, learn the basics of whatever it is you decide to pursue.

If it's becoming a videographer or Youtuber or whatever, create your channel and brand and start doing content alongside your everyday job.

Map out what you want to do for the next 3 - 6 months and learn what income you can expect.

    Third - Scale

After that foundation has been set, you can look at your future, and you will understand what income you can earn, what you may need to change, and ways to improve.

You will also know how much effort you must put in each day. This is quite important, as you will find out that some businesses take a lot more effort to run than others.

Begin to tweak your content, increase ad spend, or do whatever you have identified as the way to scale.

For me, it was creating more content and spending more time on FB or Quora daily.

Lastly, take a 3 - 6 month average, mainly because you will find that each month can be very different in terms of income and profit. This will help you plan out your future.
