The country has made progress in recent years. However, substantial investment in infrastructure, education, and healthcare is still required to improve the lives of its people and ensure a stable and prosperous future for the country.

    Equatorial Guinea is a member of the United Nations, the African Union, and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), among other international organizations. It is also home to several unique cultural traditions, including the Fang and Bubi peoples, with rich artistic and musical traditions.
